Peggy Lea A1066940 – 10 yr. spayed Siamese, OS,
Peggy Lea is a ten year old spayed tan and brown siamese. She was surrendered by her owner due to a family members allergies. She was with her owner since she was a kitten and was brought from a pet store down south. She is described as shy, talkative and affectionate.
Peggy Lea has lived with four adults and one two year old. Around strangers she is described as shy and takes a few visits before she warms up. Owner stated she engages in gentle play with adults and will rub and allow petting. Around children sh is described as relaxed and curious, owner stated when the grandchildren visit the home she will come out to greet them and allow gentle petting and then retreat. She has not been around other cats. She lived with a chihuahua and owner stated they were relaxed and affectionate towards each other and were always together. She has never bitten a person or another animal.
Peggy Lea will allow bathing with pet wipes she is not bothered, owner stated she hates water. Owner did not trim nails and enjoys being brushed. Owner stated he is not bothered when he is picked up and held, she must know the person very well before she can be picked up. She will walk right into a carrier.
For a new family to know:
Peggy Lea’s activity level is described as low and she likes to lounge and stay in a nice warm corner. She has been kept only indoors and likes to sleep in her own bed. She eats wet food Fancy Feast brand and is fed three times a day. Her favorite treats are temptations. She uses an uncovered litterbox and clumping litter. Owner stated she is declawed and does not scatch at furniture in the home.
Upon intake Peggy Lea was tense and retreated to the back of her soft carrier. Peggy Lea allowed all handling and became irritated when collar but showed no signs of aggression. Counselor was able to collar, scan (negative) and photograph.
03/08/16 Tuesday (Day 1)
Ears flatten. Stress meows at the back of the kennel. Hisses and raises body up as you approach. Very fearful. Tolerates petting. Eyes wide focused on all movements.

~10yrs, spayed female, well hydrated. bcs 6/9
mild-moderate dental tartar/gingivitis, nuclear sclerosis ou, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl
normal thoracic auscultation; normal abdominal palpation
slightly unkempt hair coat
a: geriatric, gingivitis
p: continue to monitor while at bacc. rec full geriatric work up with placement. good prognosis
