PEACH – A1092341
Gone - 10-9-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 10/09/16*** THREE HEALTHY GINGER KITTIES NEED YOU TONIGHT OR THE ACC WILL KILL THEM FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!! PEACH, HAMMOND and STAR were dumped in the shelter when their owner’s landlord told him to get rid of them because he had too many pets. Last night we saw GEORGE A1092343 on the list and whose status is still unknown. Tonight we see three more housemates scheduled to die. All three of these kitties are PERFECTLY HEALTHY and only a bit tense and nervous in the shelter. Can you blame them? They don’t know why they are there and have no clue what the ACC has planned for them tomorrow afternoon. WE CAN’T LET THREE HEALTHY ADOPTABLE CATS BE KILLED FOR NO REASON. PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT ONE, TWO OR THREE. THESE CATS WILL BE BACK TO THEIR OLD SELVES ONCE OUT OF THE SCARY SHELTER. EMAIL [email protected] NOW FOR RESCUE INFO.

10/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Peach looks tense, sitting upright by the front of the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Peach remains crouched position at the back, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Peach slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand then retreats in to the cat den. However, she accepts the stroke, but stiffens up and shows no interest to the touch while she remians wary with her environment. Placement determination: Experience / no child Peach tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
