Patruli is at risk for medical reasons. Patruli has been diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Infection, which is contagious to other cats. Patruli also has nasal ulcers and gingvitis. Behaviorally, we have no concerns for Patruli, whom we believe would be suitable for most homes.

Scanned neg on intake, MC placed during LVT intake History : Stray, finder has been feeding pt for the last 6 months Subjective: Alert, congested Observed Behavior – Allows all handling Objective QAR, estimated 5% dehydrated, BCS 5/9 EENT: Mild red-tinged mucoid ocular discharge OU. Moderate mucoid nasal discharge with large ulcer to the left side of the nose. Moderate black granular discharge AU. Oral Exam: Severe gingivitis, halitosis. Mild tartar. PLN: Severely enlarged mandibular LNs. H/L: NSR, NMA, Congested, sneezing and sniffling. ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, large bladder, no spay scar palpated MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment 1. Upon intake Patruli was quiet but alert upon intake.she allowed to be scanned and photographed. Scanned negative.
Basic Information:: Patruli “16060′ is a stray cat that was found 6 months ago outside the Clients home. client explained that Patruli is one of the many cats she feeds in her yard. Patruli was showing signs of a respiratory infection so she was brought into QAC. Patruli was alert and timid while in the care center.

How is this cat around strangers?: Patruli was very timid with strangers. she only allows interactions if food is presented.
How is this cat around children?: unknown
How is this cat around other cats?: Patruli is one of the many cats that was being fed in the clients yard. Will tolerate the other outside cats.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Patruli was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Observed Behavior – Allows all handling
ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 12/14/17 Sitting up in litter box, alert, looking around. Sat in place when door opened, leaned forward to sniff hand. Warmed up quickly once touched, leaned into pets, purred loudly. Squinted and slow blinked after door closed.
Cage Condition:: No change
Reaction to assessor:: Patruli remains neutral, sitting upright by the front during the approach.
Reaction when softly spoken to:: Patruli shows interest looking towards the front with normal shape eyes.
Reaction to cage door opening:: Patruli slowly increases distance, ears erect and forward.
Reaction to touch:: Patruli is unsure, but began to lean into the assessor’s hand and appreciate the petting.
Reaction to being picked up:: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.
