Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen – no Objective T = P = 200 R = eup BCS 7/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: severe recession/gingivits, halitosis both maxillary arcades, irritation on rostral buccal mucosa/lips, no overt masses or stomatitis, seems painful PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: CM MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: NP Assessment 8 year old CM DSH 1. Marked dental dz 2. Overweight 3. Suspect ear mites Plan -MC -FVRCP -Rabies -pyrantel -Revolution -retro: negative -Simbadol 0.24 mg/kg SQ SID x 3 days for oral pain -Convenia for dental disease (elect convenia since oral pain present) -Look for palcement with new hope for pet to get dental Prognosis: Fair to Good SURGERY: already neutered
