Patches is a 16 year old Spayed Calico mix she was surrender to BACC due to the owner’s moving to an apartment that does not allow animals. She has no known health issues or injures and has not been to a vet.
Around strangers Patches is shy for the first few minutes but later Patches becomes friendly. Patches has lived with children of ages 8-10 and is relaxed and affectionate. Patches has been around one other 16 year old female cat is very tolerant and keeps to herself and Patches has no bite history.
Patches has to have her litter cleaned daily. She struggles during bath time and tries to escape out of the sink. Patches only likes being held for a couple of minutes and later jumps out of hands. She isn’t bothered with being held and pick up and was described as friendly, affectionate and mellow with a Low to medium activity level. She loves playing with catnip toys and is free feed dry food and Tuna fish. She is litter box trained and uses a uncovered litter box with clay litter. Patches has a scratching post made of Carpet.
