***SAFE 09/26/16*** FIVE MONTH OLD KITTEN PANSEY NEEDS A HERO TONIGHT TO SAVE HIM FROM WHAT THE ACC HAS PLANNED TOMORROW! The ACC has made it extra difficult for this kitten to be adopted. Do they care? No. First the awful name – PANSEY – for a BOY kitten? Next – the AWFUL PHOTO!! Can you even see how adorable this ginger boy is?? No. Thirdly – they gave PANSEY the SHELTER COLD! And now they are punishing him for all the things THEY did to him!! AND HOW DARE THEY SAY THEY ARE A “CARE” CENTER!! WE CAN SEE THAT POOR PANSEY IS A FRIGHTENED LITTLE KITTEN WHO NEEDS A SPECIAL PURRSON TO LOVE HIM. HE LEANED INTO PETTING AND BEGAN PURRING ON HIS ASSESSMENT. YET THEY STILL GAVE HIM AN EXPERIENCE RATING AND A TRIP TO THE EUTH LIST. CONTACT A RESCUE RIGHT NOW TO SAVE THIS WONDERFUL KITTEN AND YOU WILL HAVE MANY MORE PURRS TO LISTEN TO!! EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] IF YOU NEED RESCUE INFO.

09/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Pansey was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to him behavior in him previous home. Reaction to assessor: Pansey was relaxed on his blanket at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pansey feint sleeps and tries to avoid eye contact. Reaction to cage door opening: Pansey remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Pansey is hesitant of contact and leans away when the assessor extends his hand out. He sniffs the assessor’s hand and remains in place when touched. After a couple of soft passes he slowly warms up to contact and starts to purr. He leans his head in for rubs and slowly relaxes his body. Reaction to being picked up: Pansey is tense when held and curls up tight in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Pansey may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
