***SAFE 07/16/16*** TRIO OF BLACK & WHITE BEAUTIES LOOKING FOR NEW HOMES!! TINA, PANDA & TAILS all get along with cats, they have even lived with a dog that ignored them…That’s the good news. The bad news is that they were taken from a hoarder home. And you can see that they were not fixed. TINA is only 7 months old, while PANDA and TAILS are two. TAILS has a congenital defect in her tail where the bones fused…..They are all in decent shape but could use some polishing up and some patient attention. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE LOOKING AT THIS HORRENDOUS LARGE LIST WILL SEE THE UNIQUE BEAUTY IN EACH OF THEM!! HOPEFULLY THAT PURRSON IS YOU!! They do not have to be adopted together so if you can take just one, we’re ahead of the ACC’s game. If you need assistance, applying to FOSTER or ADOPT, email us at [email protected]

07/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Panda was brought in with limited information on his behavioral tendencies in a home environment. His previous owner reports he has lived with four adults and two children. He has lived with lots of other cats and a dog. All of the cats got along well with each other and the dog mostly ignored the cats. The owner says he loves to play, enjoys petting, and uses a scratching post. Reaction to assessor: Panda was by the front, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Panda sniffs around and appears curious of his surroundings. Reaction to cage door opening: Panda becomes alert, but remains calm. Reaction to touch: Panda was hesitant and lowers his body, but sniffs the assessor’s hand and accepts petting. His ears tilt sideways and he lip licks during the interaction. He seems unsure, but remains in place for petting. Reaction to being picked up: Panda is a bit tense, but remains calm when held. Behavior Determination: Experience Panda tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
