History : stray. Finder says p has injured eye and hasn’t eaten in a few days.
Subjective: BAR. Growling in carrier. Restrained with towel and was able complete PE and med handling. Offered food and p readily ate.

Eyes appear slightly sunken, delayed skin turgor, ~ 7% dehydrated
EENT: OS large superficial corneal ulceration encompassing most of the ventral surface of the cornea, neovascularization. OD clear. Ears clean. No nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: mild to moderate dental disease
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: soft and non painful, no masses palpated, prominent smooth kidneys
U/G: MI, 2 testicles, smooth, symmtrical
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, poor unkempt hair coat. Severe emaciation, generalized muscle wasting
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: NE

Plan:
monitor in Medical overnight
fluoroscein stain — OS positive uptake
LRS 100mL SQ SID x 3 days. Extend PRN.
Simbadol 0.3 mL SQ SID x 5 days
TAB opth ointment OS BID x 10 days. Extend PRN.
CBC/chem/T4 tomorrow, once p is better hydrated
If tomorrow p appears stable, euhydrated, and eating on own, can transfer out of Medical, and continue to monitor OS ulcer.
