OSCAR – A1085784
Gone - 8-31-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 08/31/15*** OSCAR THE GIRL NEEDS SOMEONE TO GET HER TO SAFETY AND FAR AWAY FROM THE ACC! OSCAR is just 16 weeks old and VERY understandably scared out of her mind. But after a little hissing and as the exam went on, this sweet girl was showing signs of warming up. She allowed being handled some and was even able to be picked up. But EXPERIENCE is the rating THEY stuck with so you make up your mind! Take this girl in and watch how she’ll blossom with some love and attention! That really all she ever asked for…and her LIFE back!

08/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Oscar was at the front of the cage meowing softly When spoken quietly: Oscar looks nervous and takes a few steps back Reaction to door cage opening: Oscar retreats Reaction to touch: Oscar moves away from me to avoid being touched Try picking cat up: Oscar is tense when held Behavior Determination: Experience Oscar was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
