04/29/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/29/17 15:48 Basic Info: Orio A1110455 is a 4yr old male black & white DSH feline who was born in the home and is being surrendered due to a newborn baby being allergic to him & someone in the home not wanting him around the baby. Orio hasn’t been seen by a vet and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Orio is shy for a few minutes with strangers. He hasn’t been around dogs but was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adults and his father (being rehomed) in the home. Orio would lay by the baby and watch them. Orio hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Orio hasn’t been on a car ride. He isn’t bothered with being placed into a carrier or being held/pet. Orio hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting, had his nails trimmed, been brushed or bathed (the owner stated they tried to bath & trim his nails about 3months ago but he struggles to get away & hides). Orio scratches on the wooden wall in the kitchen in the morning when he wakes up to eat & doesn’t have a scratching post. For a New Family to Know: Orio is described as friendly, affectionate, playful & quiet with medium activity level. When the owner is home Orio follows them around. He’s an indoor cat that used to sleep with the owner (on their chest) now sleeps on a cat bed in the living room, eats dry & wet Friskies cat food 2-3x a day and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within but also sprays around the home (he hasn’t been neutered or seen by a veterinarian). Intake Behavior: Orio had a soft body, eyes and allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have his pictures taken. Orio seemed comfortable in my arms, didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
