***SAFE 04/28/16***SUPER SWEET DECLAWED SENIOR NEEDS LOVING RETIREMENT HOME–BE ORIO’S HERO! A volunteer writes, “Orio is a mellow and sweet cat who likes petting on his cheeks, head and back of the neck. He also likes to be petted at the base of his tail. His previous owner described Orio as friendly, playful and quiet. When the owner is home, Orio follows them around. He’s an indoor cat and slept with his owner. He seems a bit shy in the shelter environment but he meows and asks more attention when you interact with him. He’ll be a sweet companion cat.” Sad sigh! Orio was surrendered by his family due to “allergies” and moving to a place where they didn’t allow pets. He was a faithful feline friend since kittenhood and has lived with kids. Orio is neutered, a hunky 15.9 pounds, got a great behavior rating and was purrfectly healthy until he caught the shelter cooties-aka the cold (very treatable) and has been added to tonight’s at-risk list where his precious life is in peril. Can you be the kind purrson to offer this sweet, terrific tux a loving retirement home? Orio is low maintenance and would love to snuggle up on the sofa next to his new owner. Be Orio’s hero by offering to foster or adopt. Transportation is available. Email our help desk–[email protected] and we’ll lead you through the process. Orio only has tonight. We are his only hope. Don’t let this super sweet declawed senior down. Make the call for Orio NOW!!!
