***SAFE 03/22/16 *** ORIO is a 1 year old with the terrible luck of having an owner who would rather dump him at a high kill shelter rather than work with him and their own cat, on getting along better! They only had him for 4 months. Hardly enough time to give him the boot because the two cats were at odds. He is a BEGINNER rated cutie,so it shows that this guy can go to most any home! Please, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT ORIO and let him rule your kingdom as well he should!

03/06/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
03/06/16 09:12 Basic Info: Orio A1066807 is a 1yr old male white & black DSH feline who was given to the owner by the previous owner 4months ago and is being surrendered due to the Orio not getting along with the resident cat. Orio was last seen by a veterinarian in January 2016 and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Orio is friendly/outgoing. He hasn’t been around children, but lived with dogs in his previous home and did not like them. He would hiss, growl & attempt to scratch/bite them but no injuries were obtained. In the most recent home he lived with an older neutered male cat that he would ignore or attempt to engage in fights with as well. With adults he’s gentle, exuberant, friendly/outgoing & playful. Orio hasn’t bitten/scratched any person. The bite/scratch attempts on animals were superficial (no blood or broken skin were obtained). Behavior: Orio isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held, being bathed, brushed or being placed into a carrier. He hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting or had his nails trimmed. For a New Family to Know: Orio is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident, assertive (with the cat in the home) & quiet with a medium activity level. The owner likes how handsome he is. When the owner is home Orio follows them around. He enjoys ball, mouse & string toys. Orio’s an indoor only cat that sleeps on a cat bed, the sofa, chair, windowsill or cat tower. He eats dry & wet Purina Cat Chow 1-2x a day. Orio is covered litter box trained with clumping litter within. He uses a carpeted cat tower as a scratching post. Intake Behavior: Orio allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session. He’ll meow/chirp if you speak to him. Orio didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held & was placed into a kennel with ease.
