He could have got lose, or purposely kicked out. But no one will ever know his past. BUT…you can predict his future! We already he’s got great behavior, hence, the AVERAGE RATING! 10/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Oneal was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his/her behavior in his/her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Oneal was resting inside his litter box facing the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Oneal makes eye contact with the assessor, meows softly then comes over and gently rubs against the door. Reaction to cage door opening: Oneal takes a step back and meows softly. Reaction to touch: Oneal sniffs the assessor’s hand, meows softly then brushes up for attention. His tail is raised, he allows petting all over his body and he appreciates attention. He gives light head butts when rubbed on his head and he is very curious of his environment. Reaction to being picked up: Oneal was a bit tense when picked up, remained calm then leaped back into the kennel. Please note that Oneal is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Behavior Determination: Average Oneal interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
