ODIE – A1074429
Gone - 6-2-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 06/02/16***EVICTED! Poor ODIE belonged to someone who was evicted, and that someone owned 4 cats and 2 dogs. It’s a shame that pets are taken to the ACC when life goes wrong for their owner, because the person who was evicted is not facing death tomorrow…..so why should the innocent PETS be slated to die? Obviously, the eviction wasn’t something ODIE caused by throwing wild parties, or being late with the rent, or whatever else people do to get themselves evicted. ODIE is going to pay for that person’s landlord issues with his LIFE, tomorrow, unless a foster/adopter is found for this 3-year-old boy, tonight!

05/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Odie’s former owner stated around strangers she is shy but friendly. He has lived mostly with adults in the home; he plays gently with adults and children she doesn’t know. He has lived with Curious (Cat), Penny (AM Pit Bull) and Buster (English Bull dog mix), they do not really interact with each other, but they do play with Penny sometimes. Reaction to assessor: Odie looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Odie remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Odie began to lower his head with ears down to his side, but once he allows the stroke he flinches in place and stiffens up. Placement determination: Experience / no child Odie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
