Medical Summary Sex: Female, no spay scar palpated but the male cat that this pt came with is neutered Scan: Negative Estimated age: 8 months Fleas: No flea dirt. S: Active on the exam table, very friendly, purrs and allows all handling and cuddling O: BAR-H, BCS 7/9, MMs pink and moist, CRT <2 sec EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Clean teeth. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Soft, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. Low-hanging fat pad in inguinal region. Thin fur coat in inguinal region – bilaterally symmetrical. Underlying skin appears normal. UG: Female, no spay scar palpated A: 1. Thin fur in inguinal region – R/O barbering due to stress vs. other cause 2. Overweight Short-term prognosis: Good P: 1. Gave 0.7 ml pyrantel PO and Activyl 2-9# during exam 2. Monitor for barbering and seek veterinary care if it continues 1088
