**SAFE 09/11/16** GORGEOUS NOVA NEEDS A SAVIOR TONIGHT!! Nova lost everything she knows – her owner died, she was separated from her housemate Atom and found herself in a scary shelter. It’s no wonder she is not the happiest camper. Nova is young, spayed, and quite beautiful. Step up for this girl tonight. Contact a rescue group before it’s too late!
My name is NOVA. My Animal ID # is A1084812.
I am a spayed female gray and white domestic lh. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 08/09/2016 from NY 10465, owner surrender reason stated was OWNER DIED. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-069323.

08/12/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Nova looks neutral, sitting upright by the front of the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Nova remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Nova head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, after a few strokes she moderately nips while she continues to solicit. Placement determination: Experience / no child Nova solicits attention and tolerates petting, but may be assertively demanding of attention. Due to nips we feel that this cat will do best in a home without children.
