Very sweet. Easily handle able. Did well for all medical handling and procedures
ENRICHMENT NOTES:
04/17/18
Lying in front of kennel, body tense and pupils dilated. He leans away as the kennel door opens, pupils’ dilating further then retracting. He flinches and backs away when touched, ears flattening as paw raises. Hisses, face tense and eyes wide. Licks lips. Very nervous. He lowers his body back down and eats the treats I place next to him. Will try clicker training tomorrow.
Cage Condition:
Cage is recently cleaned
Reaction to assessor:
Nostradamus was perched on top his kuranda bed with his paws folded under his body.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Nostradamus lifts his head up to make eye contact and slowly leans forward to investigate.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Nostradamus perks up and hops down from his perch.
Reaction to touch:
Nostradamus squints and seems hesitant when first approached, but warms up with attention. He sniffs the assessor’s hand, then leans in for rubs on his cheeks and petting along his body. He raises his rear, gives head butts and steps out the kennel to explore.
