**SAFE 06/21/16**HANDSOME GINGERBREAD MAN IS PURRFECTLY HEALTHY BUT WILL DIE DUE TO FEAR–BE NOG’S HERO! Nog (we know, stupid name) is a two year old, good looking orange boy who desperately needs his rescue angel tonight. This poor boy was minding his own biz when he was scooped (or trapped) and dumped at the kill happy shelter. He has absolutely no health issues but is just very scared at the shelter. Should a purrfectly healthy, young boy be killed just because he is homeless? We don’t think so! If you agree and can help Nog decompress from his shelter experience and offer him a new “leash” on life, please let one of our New Hope partners know. Email our help desk and we will assist [email protected] Let’s get busy now because this fab fella may not get another chance. Make the call for this handsome gingerbread man NOW AND BE A HERO!!!
My name is NOG. My Animal ID # is A1077711.

06/19/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Nog does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Nog does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Nog becomes alert Reaction to touch: Nog retreats to the corner of the cage with wide eyes and does not allow petting at all Try picking cat up: Nog does not allow any type of handling Behavior Determination: NewHope Nog was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Nog was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Nog may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
