Their owner has Personal Problems which are probably nothing compared to the problem that NOEL now has which is the loss of her life tomorrow at noon!! NOEL and OCTOBER got along splendidly and she liked to follow her owner around. 07/16/16 18:51 BASIC INFORMATION Noel is a female, Calico DSH cat that is 2 years old. The owner rescued Noel when she was a stray kitten in her back yard. The owner is surrendering Noel due to behavior issues. Noel has no known illness. SOCIALIZATION Noel has lived with only 2 adults. She is affectionate towards them and enjoys being petted for hours. Noel has never been introduced to small children or teenagers. She has lived with a female cat that name October A1081493, they lived in harmony together and groom each other. Noel is playful and solicit attention form stranger. She approached people and allows being petted. BEHAVIOR Noel allows to be picked up but prefer to be petted when she on the floor. She allows being handled and restraining. She solicits attention from stranger. She attempts to flee during baths. But she allows getting her nails trimmed by the vet and having he coat brushed. But she struggle going into the carrier. She flees and attempts to hide. Noel has never had a bite history. FOR NEW FAMILIES TO KNOW Noel is described as friendly, affectionate and playful. She enjoys looking out the window. She sleeps anywhere in the house. She enjoys spending time with the other housed cat October A1081493. Noel enjoys a diet of Friskies dry food. Noel also enjoys playing with wands, strings and paper balls. Noel follows owner around the house. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE During intake Noel appeared fearful. Her body appeared tense and low to the ground. She slowly allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

She has lived with a female cat. They lived in harmony together and groom each other. Noel is playful and solicit attention form stranger. She approached people and allows being petted. Reaction to assessor: Noel was at the back of the cage calmly looking at the assessor When spoken quietly: Noel stays at the back of the cage Reaction to door cage opening: Noel calmly comes to the front Reaction to touch: Noel solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Noel is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner At the time of the assessment Noal was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Noel is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
