07/25/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/25/17 18:48 Basic information: Nike is a 7 yr old cat who was rescued from the street during a storm and was kept in the same home since he was just a few months old. Unfortunately due to family allergies and sickness he could not be kept. There is no record of him ever going to the vet. Socialization: Around strangers and children Nike is described friendly/outgoing, relaxed and respectful and plays somewhat rough with both adults and children. He has never been socialized with cats or dogs and there’s no records of him ever biting another animal or person. Behavior: Nike will meow a lot for attention and will meow consistently during car rides. You will struggle with Nike when attempting to give him a bath or trim his nails but he enjoys being brushed, being picked up, being placed in a carrier and isn’t bothered when being disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Nike is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident, independent, talkative and somewhat fearful in new environments. He has a medium activity level, will greet you at the door when you come home, will follow you around when home with you and enjoys playing with balls and catnip toys. He has been kept indoors only, prefers to sleep on his own bed, ate Purina dry food with an automatic feeder, seems to be litter box trained, prefers an covered litter box with clumping litter and likes a scratching post made of carpet. Nike allowed all handling, being collared, having his picture taken and being placed in a crate.
