**SAFE 08/09/16** BEST FRIENDS WITH A DOG! “A volunteer writes: Slender and kitten-size, Nia eyes me curiously from her cat loft. She’s a soft, sweet tortie beauty with delicate features who wants to make friends, but only at her speed. That’s fine; I’m patient. I read the notes on her kennel card and find out why she’s a little shy: Nia came to us from a home, and she clearly misses the dog she was buddies with there terribly. Nia’s former owner described her as friendly and calm, and she gets along with other cats too. Our assessment team awarded her a top behavior rating as well. Come meet her on 110th Street today, and win this sweet, well-behaved girl over.” Please don’t let an EVICTION be the death of this perfect, AVERAGE-rated girl! Advocate widely for NIA, tonight!
