ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet KNOWN HISTORY: Nena was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. ENRICHMENT NOTES: 09/14/17 Resting, curled up on bedding. Perks up when approached and arches body when touched. Leans in for rubs and starts to purr. Really sweet kitten. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Nena immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Nena remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Nena head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Nena interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
