Right front foot – extra toenail is curled around and embedded in pad. Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Trimmed nails – embedded nail came out easily and left a small wound, no swelling, mild bleeding Assessment: 1. Obese 2. Polydactyl, one nail embedded –> small wound 3. Dental disease Plan: 1. Recommend weight loss of 3-6 lbs 2. Yesterday’s News, recheck RFL paw pad in 2 days 3. Recommend dental cleaning 1088
