ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors Previously lived with: adults and other cats Bite or Scratch history: none Litter box training: yes Other notes: Loves to play, Enjoys Petting, Loves to cuddle & be picked up MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Subjective: Calm, meows, allows all handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/18/17 Resting on bedding, looking around, alert with soft eyes and body. Came briefly to the front when spoken to, but retreated when door opened, hid face in corner when pet. Ate offered treats after door closed. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Nasdaq remains neutral, lying down on her cage bedding. Reaction to cage door opening: Nasdaq remains immobile in place, alert with soft eyes, ears erect and forward. Reaction to touch: Nasdaq sniffs the assessor’s hand then slowly head bunts and purrs during the petting. Reaction to being picked up: Briefly allows the pickup then jumps back in to the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Nasdaq interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
