***SAFE 09/10/16***Mystical is a 2 year old gray and white tabby found as a stray and brought to the ACC. There’s nothing magical about his life. He hasn’t been cared for by a dotting owner. This poor boy is giving up hope of ever finding a home. The ACC could care less. They just want him out one way or another. Reaction to assessor: Mystical was curled up at the back of the kennel feint sleeping. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mystical lowers his head and remains motionless. Reaction to cage door opening: Mystical remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Mystical has a tense body and slowly lowers his head when touched along his body. He keeps his eyes closed, allows petting all over and slowly tilts his head and leans in for rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Mystical is tense when held and curls up in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Mystical may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
