09/10/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/10/17 16:21 Basic information: Music is a 15 years old neutered male brown tabby and white domestic short hair cat. He was surrendered to MACC because the previous owner was not allowed to have pets in her new apartment. The previous owner did not report any injuries or health problems. Socialization: Music was outgoing around strangers. He played gently with adults as he has never interacted with children. He lived with a 3 years old neutered male cat and was relaxed around him. He played gently with other cats and dogs. He has no known bite history. Behavior: He was transported loose in the car and was relaxed along the way. He has no litter box problems. He enjoyed baths and nail trims. He was not bothered when picked up and held. He was also not bothered by being placed inside of carriers as he would go inside alone. For a new family to know: He was described as an independent and talkative cat. His activity level was low and his favorite activity was playing with people’s socks. He was an attention seeker and followed the previous owner surrender around the house. He was kept mostly indoors. He had an uncovered litter box filled with clumping litter. He scratched on furniture because he lacked a scratching post. During intake: His eyes were dilated and his body was shifted towards the back of the carrier. The admissions counselor opened the door of the carrier doors and enticed him to come out with food. While outside the carrier, his tail was swishing side to side slowly. He allowed the admissions counselor to collar him and was receptive to handling.
