3 yr. spayed brown tabby, OS ENRICHMENT NOTES: 12/26/16 Nervous and unsure, but allowed petting. Somewhat skittish with touch, but social. Readily came forward for chicken. Sweet, scared cat. Gave some addtl chicken and a toy, sprayed Feliway. MEDICAL: Scan negative Nervous, tolerate handling Spayed female, 3 years old Mild tartar and gingivitis Eyes and ears clear No fleas Skin- clear Barh Basic Information: Mushie is a 3 year old altered domestic short hair. The surrender got Mushie from her a neighbor and is surrendering be cause of personal problems. Mushie has not seen a vet since she was spayed at a s/n mobile truck. She has no known illnesses or injuries. Socialzation: Mushie is friendly and outgoing when strangers visit her home. She does not play with people but she loves to cuddle. She often will lay on her owner’s chest. She has not spent time with children or dogs. She lived with her altered 3 year old brother and was affectionate and exuberant during play with him. Behavior: It is unknown how Mushie will react when on a car ride, have her nails trimmed, or brushed. She loves to be picked up and held. She is afraid or baths and struggles during them. She is not bothered when placed in a carrier or woken up from sleep. For a New Family to Know: She is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, assertive, independent, and quiet. She has a high activity level and is kept inside. Sometimes she will run outdoors but she can be lured back inside with wet food. When her owner is home she tends to lay on his chest or in her favorite spot. She has not showed interest in cat toys and usually played with her brother. She was fed wet and dry food but she would often puke after eating wet food. Mushie is used to an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Once in a while she will scratch on the cloth couch but she was never given a scratching post. She loves to drink water from the sink. Admissions Behavior: Mushie sat in the front of the carrier with a soft body and slowly blinked her eyes. When the carrier door opened, she walked slowly onto the coutner and was easily photographed and collared. After her photo, she walked back into her carrier.
