Mufasa was curled up in the back of the cubby, watching the assessor with wide eyes.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Mufasa pupils dilate, his ears tilt forward and he slowly inches forward to investigate.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Mufasa retreats back into the cubby.
Reaction to touch:
Mufasa keeps his head lowered and seems unsure of his surroundings, but starts to warm up with attention. His tail rises, he gives head butts and comes forward seeking attention.
Reaction to being picked up:
Mufasa was a but tense when picked up, but he allows all handling.
H – Healthy
Nala interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
