She has never lived or interacted with children or dogs. She has lived with Tiny and another female cat in the home. 01/30/16 10:45 Basic Information Ms Thinks She’s Too Cute, “Ms Too Cute” for short, and her sister Tiny (A1063951) were surrendered due to her owner facing an unexpected life change. Both cats were given to the owner as gifts 5 months ago. Both cat’s last vet visit was two months ago and there were no reported health issues. Socialization Ms Too Cute is described as a friendly and outgoing towards strangers who come to visit. She approaches strangers and rubs on their legs. She has never lived or interacted with children or dogs. She has lived with Tiny and another female cat in the home. They are usually relaxed with each other except during feeding. The cats would growl at each other while eating if another cat approaches the bowl. Ms Too Cute is the largest cat and is used to eating the most food. All of the cat’s would back away after the growl and none of them ever tried to bite or scratch each other. The cats are also reported to mount each other when they are in heat and will take correction when the other cat vocalizes. Ms Too Cute has never bitten or scratched another animal or person Behavior Ms Too Cute is described as having a very high energy level. She has never given a bath or had her nails trimmed. She enjoys being brushed by her owner’s boyfriend. She does struggle if being held or while being placed in a carrier, but does not resort to biting/scratching. For a New Family to Know Tiny loves to follow her owner around the house. She has lived indoors only and enjoys playing with string toys and felt mice. She has also caught and killed mice in the apartment. She is fed Purina indoor formula dry cat food and does not like Meow Mix or store brand foods. She will also not eat wet food when given to her. She uses a hooded litter box with Fresh Step litter. Owner reports that Ms Too Cute does play with scratching posts, but cannot remember the type. Behavior during Intake Ms Too Cute was very tense during her exam, but did not attempt to bite or scratch. She allowed the counselor to collar, scan for microchip (-), and photograph.

Ms Too Cute has never bitten or scratched another animal or person. Reaction to assessor: Ms Too Cute does not come to the front, but remains neutral. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ms Too Cute does not come to the front, but remains neutral. Reaction to cage door opening: Ms Too Cute remains motionless and does not respond. Reaction to touch: Ms Too Cute leans away from the assessor’s hand and meow-whines. Behavior Determination: Experience Ms Too Cute tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
