Lying in back of kennel with a low, tense body. Partially hidden behind blanket. .Babies are cuddled together towards the front of the kennel. She tolerates petting along her head and body while remaining very still and avoiding eye contact. Nervous, needs more time to adjust.
Basic Information:Moxie is a black and white domestic short hair. She came to the center as a stray.
Behavior Notes:Moxie allowed her kittens to be handled but flew when counselor tried to handle her. No further handling was done.

ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Female
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Apparently healthy, lactating
Prognosis: Excellent
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
SURGERY:
Temporary waiver due to nursing kittens
