ENRICHMENT NOTES:
03/21/17
Lying down at the front of the kennel. Seems a little unsure, backs away when I extended my hand. Body posture lowered, sniffs and accepts touch. Tail curled at side. Takes a few minutes to warm up. Slowly build confidence, body perks up when rubbed. Didn’t mind being pet on shaved back. Tail sways back and forth. Food motivated, loved tuna. Enjoyed catnip toys, rolled around playfully.
03/22/17
Calm and relaxed, seemed interested in interacting, but becomes startled with sudden movement or noise. Slowly comes forward to sniff my hand, and then slowly head-butts. Begins to purr and leans in. Accepts petting on entire body although she generally has a low body posture. Really sweet and loves treats, purring even louder and tries to dig her nose into treat bag.
03/23/17
Relaxed on blanket, starts purring when spoken to softly. Perks up when rubbed on head. Leans in for attention. Sweet girl. Doesn’t mind being rubbed on her shaved back. Tail rises up. Pauses and becomes alert with any loud noises/commotion in the background. A little tense when picked up, wiggles out of arms.
03/25/17
Doing great. Nuzzles hand and loves attention. Rolls on side and head butts hand. Allows petting all over. Loves her treats. Sweet girl. Okay to take off socialization list.
