With her captivating green eyes, it is hard not to give this precious girl a second glance! Mollie has earned herself an awesome AVERAGE RATING, and was full of head-butts and purrs during her assessment! Wouldn’t you love to spend an evening curled up on the couch with this beautiful lady, telling her all about your troubles? Surely between the snuggles she can offer and the comforting look in her gorgeous eyes, Mollie can sooth the stress of your day away! The ACC have other plans for her however, as she has caught the shelter cold and their preferred method of treatment is to KILL HER AT NOON TOMORROW! Mollie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder reports that Mollie was easy to handle. She was tense during the initial medical exam but allowed most handling. Reaction to Assessor: Mollie appeared calm and relaxed upon approach Reaction when softly spoken to: Mollie started to breathe heavily but kept her body relaxed Reaction to cage door opening: Mollie was soft and relaxed and approached the assessor Reaction to touch: During touch, Mollie leaned into the assessors hand and started to head–butt Reaction to being picked up: Mollie became stiff but was tolerant of this behavior. Once she went back into the cage, her body was soft and relaxed. Placement Determination: Average Mollie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
