Nervous, unsure, lying in litter box. Has sad eyes, heartbreaking. Sweet, social cat, appreciates petting, pushed chin out for extra rubs. Not ready for a lot of attention yet, needs some time to adjust and build confidence. Has potential to warm up here. Big, handsome cat, dark eyes and impressive markings. Gave some wet food and tuna and a plush catnip toy. Update: Checked back to bring a tuna treat: He’s definitely starting to feel better and warm up; luckily, the room has been quiet today. Still anxious, a sense of melancholy in those eyes, but social, friendly, playfully rolling around, let me pet all over and pick up and hold. Cut out some of the mats on his back, will get the rest tomorrow; he tolerated it well. Video submitted
