However when I said hello she immediately stood up and came forward to say hello back. She displayed interest in my attention in a sweet and calm way. She welcomes a good chin or head scratch. She has a peaceful energy about her. A love.
Missy is a 10 year old spayed, domestic shorthair cat. Client got her from a friend when she was a kitten. Client is surrendering due to the cat urinating outside of litter box.

Resting in litter box, soft gaze and posture, a little wide-eyed, seemed unsure. Lay in place when door opened, sniffed hand, slowly head-butted, leaned and arched into pets, purred. Ate treats after door closed. Needs time to acclimate.

Small improvement! Sitting up behind litter box, soft eyes and body. Came up to front when spoken to, started to come out to main compartment. Came rest of the way out when door opened. Leaned and arched into pets, purred, started to explore cage.

She is litter box trained but has been having accidents out of the litter box within the last couple of months. She uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. She has a rough rope scratching post.
