SAFE 4/5/18 Lived With 2 Other Cats! Energetic & Playful Brown Tabby Girl – MISHU! Mishu 24123 is a 7-8 year old spayed female, gray tabby that was surrendered due to the owners health issues. Mishu was found as a stray. Mishu has never suffered any health issues or injuries. Mishu last visit to the vet was about 5 years ago for her spay surgery.

Oral Exam: Mild dental tartar, pink mm
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Apparently healthy
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Antiseden 0.15ml IM for reversal
Steps forward to greet me as I approach, vocalizing and purring with ears forward, She tolerates petting briefly while leaning in with energy, but becomes uncomfortable when my hand goes past her shoulders. Whips head back and hisses, ears flattening. May be showing signs of petting induced aggression. Energetic and playful, has potential to warm up.

How is this cat around strangers?
Around stranger Mishu is described as fearful & timid. When strangers come into the home she will run away & hide, or climb on top of a high space out of plain view. Mishu will rarely interact with a guest. If she does, she will slightly approach for sniffing with a stiff body. After she sniff, she will go back into hiding. The previous owner stated that he never seen Mishu allow a stranger to touch, rub or pet her. She will hiss or run away if an unknown person attempted to.

How is this cat around other cats?
Mishu lived in the home with 2 other cats. Mishu was described as tolerant with the other cats. Mishu will approach the other cats in the home at rare times for sniffing and a quick head rub however most of the time she likes to stay to herself. If the other cats attempted to play with her, she will usually just walk away. If the other cats attempted to rub against her, she will just sit there until she doesnâ€™t want to interact anymore. When the other cats in the home are hyper & running around the home, she will hiss in their direction and jump onto of the couch. Mishu does share a litter box and food with the other cats.
How is this cat around dogs?
Mishu wasnâ€™t exposed to dogs while under the care of the owner.
Mishu allows to be held & picked up for a short amount of time. Eventually she will wiggly away. She does allow to be brush without an issue. Placing Mishu is a bit of a struggle. The pervious usually wraps her in a towel and pushes her inside. While inside she meows and scratches at the carrier door. Mishu does like getting baths. During baths she will lower her eyes & hiss. Once she does that the owner will allow her to run off.
Mishu has never attempted to bite or scratch the owner.
Has this cat ever had any medical issues?

Mishu is described as independent, relaxed & mellow. Mishu likes to stay to herself while inside the home. Mishu isnâ€™t responsive towards toys. She was fed wet 9 lives 2x a day. Mishu is indoors only. She uses a hooded litter box lined with Purina litter.
Upon intake Mishu hissed at a staff member. When attempted to be removed from the carrier Mishu backed away. Mishu was photographed inside of the carrier. Mishu allowed limited handling.
