KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Observed Behavior – shy , allows handling but recoils EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Mint Chip looks tense, crouched position by front of the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Mint Chip began to blink slowly while he stiffens up in place. Reaction to touch: Mint Chip accepts the stroke, but shows no interest and remains cautious with his surroundings. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Motionless VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Timid BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Mint Chip tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
