*** GONE 09/24/16 ***SECOND CHANCE FOR SWEET BUT SHY MINNIE–MAKE IT COUNT!!! This scared kitty may have known love, once upon a time. She may have known nice food, a predictable routine, and a soft bed. Those days are long in the past. The recent days have been spent living rough, making it as best she can. MINNIE has been scooped up as a stray and may even have forgotten the good days, because the recent days have been so sad. Please don’t let this be the end of the line. Let’s work together to find happy days for this angel tonight.

09/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Minnie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Minnie was curled up in the back with eyes focused on all movements. Reaction when softly spoken to: Minnie lip licks and follows all the assessors’ movements. Reaction to cage door opening: Minnie remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Minnie rises up when the assessor extends his hand out and hisses with ears bent flat. She swats, shifts away and allows no contact. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Minnie is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
