FELV POSITIVE
Hello, my name is Mingming. My animal id is #17983. I am a female brown tabby cat at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old. – P
I came into the shelter as a stray on 10-Jan-2018.
Mingming is at risk due to being diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection and tested positive for Feline leukemia virus (FELV). Mingming will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days to treat the URI. A veterinarian should be consulted on for the ongoing treatment for FELV as there is no definitive cure. These are both contagious illnesses to other cats. Mingming has been shy but friendly in the care center.
My medical notes are…
Weight: 5.84 lbs
