ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet ENRICHMENT NOTES: 6/27/17- Curled up at back with siblings. Hunched in place when door opened, became alert. Sat in place, tolerated pets, looked around. 6/28/17- Dozing towards front on approach. Came closer to front to eat offered treats. A little wide-eyed, but soft posture, tail up. Stayed at the front when door opened. Leaned and arched into pets, ate more treats. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Mindy immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Mindy remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Mindy head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Mindy interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
