***SAFE 06/27/16*** MIMI IS ONE OF A LARGE GROUP WHO CAME INTO THE SHELTER AND NOW WITH A COLD THEY ARE GOING TO KILL HER AT NOON SUNDAY! MIMI came in with a group of cats from a home that had too many. Sadly this 6 month old kitten caught the shelter germs before she could be adopted, and they quickly slated her to die!! MIMI of course lived with many other cats so she is good with others. She was said to be playful and even wasn’t bothered by the dog. MIMI is of course nervous and afraid in the shelter so they slapped her with an EXPERIENCE rating. She will be just fine if you save her and give her a place where she can be loved. CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL MIMI TO SAFETY!! DON’T LET HER FIND OUT WHAT AWAITS HER AT NOON! ACT NOW. EMAIL [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO.

06/17/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
As per previous owner, Mimi has lived with 4 adults and 2 children. She has lived with a lot of cats and got along with all of them. She loves to play and likes using her scratching post. Reaction to assessor: Mimi was at the back of the kennel and has wide eyes focused on all movements. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mimi is wary of her surroundings and doesn’t come forward. Reaction to cage door opening: Mimi remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Mimi is hesitant of contact and slowly inches away as you approach her. She slowly warms up to contact and leans in for attention. After a few soft passes she becomes more confident and comes towards the front of the kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Mimi becomes very tense and starts lip licking. She quickly leaps away and stays at the back of the kennel. Behavior Determination: Experience Mimi may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
