**SAFE 12/15/17*** SUPER SWEET BEGINNER MIMI WAS GENTLE AND AFFECTIONATE WITH THE CHILD SHE LIVED WITH BUT OWNER STILL DUMPED FOR MOVING!! MIMI was brought in by her owner for moving. Yet he described his 1 yr old cat as a loveable, affectionate, playful and all around “purrfect” kitty! MIMI loves attention and will roll around and purr. She caught the shelter cold and now must exit now! PLEASE ADOPT MIMI AND GIVE HER A HAPPY HOLIDAY – RESERVE BY NOON!

Basic Information:: Mimi is an approximately 1 year old unaltered female domestic short hair. The owner got Mimi from her sister in August of this year. The owner is surrendering because Mimi scratched her and drew blood. The owner has never taken Mimi to the vet.

How is this cat around children?: Mimi has been around a 9 year old child with whom she is very relaxed and affectionate, only playing gently.

Behavior Notes: Mimi is relaxed during car rides. Mimi has never had a litter box accident. The owner has never bathed Mimi, trimmed her nails, or disturbed her while she sleeps. Mimi is not bothered when she is picked up and held or when she is brushed.
For a New Family to Know: Mimi is described as friendly, affectionate, and playful. The owner’s favorite thing about Mimi is that she is so lovable. Mimi’s favorite thing to do is rub against people. Mimi is fed Friskies wet and dry food, 1 can and 1 cup a day. Mimi uses a hooded litter box with any type of litter. Mimi scratches on a cat tree made out of fabric and rough rope.

ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 11/26/17 Just moved into new cage. Dozing in litter box, woke when door opened. Lay in place, soft eyes and body, leaned into pets, rolled over on back, purred. Came to front after door closed, sniffed hand, stared rubbing against the bars, then lay down again. 11/27/17 Came to the front on approach, soft eyes and body. Started meowing and rubbing against the bars. Stayed at the front when door opened, leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred, started to roll over. Resumed rubbing against and reaching through the bars after door closed. 11/28/17 At the front on approach, soft eyes and body. Started rubbing against and reaching through the bars when spoken to. Stayed at the front when door opened, leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred. 11/30/17 At front on approach, soft eyes and body, already purring. Started rubbing against and reaching through bars when spoken to. Leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred, lifted rear for butt scratches. Resumed rubbing against and reaching through bars after door closed. 12/3/17 At the front on approach, soft eyes and body. Meowed and started rubbing against the bars. Leaned and arched enthusiastically into pets, purred, sat calmly when held.
