Observed Behavior – soft meows, resists coming out of carrier, but little restraint required for exam, allows all handling

EENT: Eyes mild blepharospasm, chemosis and mucoid to mucopurulent discharge, ears clean, serous to mucoid nasal discharge
Oral Exam: Healthy adult dentition; Grade 0-1/4 dental dz
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, firm round masses palpated in caudal abdomen (consistent with early fetuses)
U/G: both mammary chains uniformly enlarged, firm, no heat, does not seem painful on palpation
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Conjunctivitis/URI, Suspect mammary hyperplasia and early pregnancy
Prognosis:
Good
Plan: Move to ISO. Start on Doxycycline 50mg/ml – 0.7mls PO q24h x 10d; gave 1st dose around 4:45pm 1/19/18. Terramycin ophth oint – thin strip OU q12h x 10d. Recheck day 7 and 10. Recommend spay as soon as URI resolved due to possible mammary hyperplasia and pregnancy.
