Can you be the kind purrson to open your heart and home to these delicious little girls by offering to foster or adopt? You can reserve this terrific torbie trio online or contact a New Hope rescue. Transportation is available. Email our help desk and we will help you have these little darlings delivered directly to your doorstep–[email protected] Let’s do everything we can to move these sweet kittens to safe haven tonight because they may not make it past tomorrow afternoon if their hero doesn’t step up. 06/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Michael was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Michael’s ears flatten and hissed as I approached the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Michael lowers her body and shifts to the back of the kennel. Reaction to cage door opening: Michael continues to hiss with flattened ears. Reaction to touch: Michael hisses and spits as you approach and has a stiff/ tense body when pet. She tries to shift away avoiding contact. Reaction to being picked up: Michael is very tense when held and twists around in the assessor’s hand trying to escape. Once held she closes her eyes and buries her head in the assessor’s arm. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Michael tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children
