MICAH – A1084238
Gone - 8-24-2016 Manhattan
**GONE 08/24/16** CUTIE PATOOTIE IN GRAVE DANGER TONIGHT! Meet MICAH, a ridiculously adorable 2-year-old girl who wound up at the ACC as a stray. She arrived there on August 5th so she’s waited, and waited, and waited some more, for someone to decide to take her home. She must also have a nearly bombproof immune system to have tolerated the ACC as long as she did, but ultimately, the shelter cooties finally beset her on August 23rd. MICAH was moved to the isolation ward, someone chucked some doxycycline her way, and the recommendation was that she take that medicine for 10 days. WHY does the ACC bother making suggestions about care plans when THEIR “CARE PLAN” INVOLVES A LETHAL INJECTION? MICAH should be recovering from her cold in someone’s loving arms, but instead, she is on the list of cats to be brutally murdered tomorrow. Please make sure MICAH finally gets her happily-ever-after by finding a FOSTER or ADOPTER for her, tonight!

08/05/16 11:07 Client who found Micah said he was friendly and liked to be near people while he had Micah in his house a few days before bringing him to the ACC. At the ACC, Micah was a little shy to get out of his carrier but allowed counselor to pick him up and take him out of it. One on the table, he sat still while being collared and having his picture taken. He licked his nose a bit when a carrier was put back on the table. He would not go inside by himself even when prompted by food, but allowed counselor to pick him up again to put him back inside.
