Mia was brought in without any information on her behavioral tendencies in a home environment. Her finder reports she likes to run and hide and although she was tense and nervous during her initial medical exam, she allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Mia was resting upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mia wakes and blinks sleepily at the assessor. She then rolls over on her back and stretches. Reaction to cage door opening: Mia remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Mia stretches some more and head-butts the assessor. She comes to the front and leans against the assessor, purring. Reaction to pick up: Mia remains soft during pick up and continues to purr when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Mia interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
