FOSTER CARE – MIA was brought in after having her foot caught in a trap causing injury to her foot. She may need an amputation of the toe. She is being treated for the wound and needs a furever home asap.

Subjective / Observed Behavior – BAR, very timid, tried to flee. allowed handling and PE.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – none
Evidence of Trauma seen – none
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted
Oral Exam: dc 1/5. pd 1/5.
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: No murmur ausculted; CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: intact female. no spay scar or tattoo seen.
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; partial amputation of digit #3 L TL; tendon exposed, digit is hanging ventrally.
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities

No food past 10pm.
