SAFE 5/7/16 A volunteer writes: Maybe you’ve seen all of the cute photos of cats curled up into little balls. Maybe in a perfect circle, while sleeping on a lap or on a couch. And you thought, wow, I’d love to try this at my home. Where can I get a cat like that? Well, you came to the right place. Mew is that cat! He won’t wander far from you, he’ll climb onto your lap and roll around and curl up. Ok, what’s the catch you say. Well, catch number one is that you’ll need three or four hands to get the photo, since Mew wants two hands available for rubbing both sides of his head against you. Catch number two, don’t bring the family dog around, or don’t get a dog at all. Mew isn’t interested in sharing you. Well, what do you think? Mew is waiting and available to go home today!

Another volunteer writes: Mew just might be the friendliest cat I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Once you make friends with Mew, you’re his friend for life. You can find Mew sitting quietly in his condo, however, once you say “hi” he will eagerly roll over into your arms for neck scratches. If you walk away from him, he’ll crane his neck to look for you and reach his paws out as far as he can to convince you to come back. He takes his friendships very seriously and is the type of cat who thrives on people’s attention and love. Right now he’s looking for new friends and a forever family. Come to the Manhattan Care Center to visit him because you just might be the perfect combination of both.
