Sex: Intact male
Age 4 yrs
Hind left leg paralysis
Eyes: Clear / wnl
Ears: Clean/ wnl
Nose: Clear / wnl
Teeth: Mild to moderate dental tartar
Skin: APH / WNL
Hair Coat: WNL
Any injuries: Hind left leg paralysis
Behavior: Friendly behavior during exam
HBC most likely
pale pk membranes
H/L heart muffled on R/L side abdominal breathing especially in lateral
motor to hind and tail
Rads.: VD pelvis vd chest and Lateral CXR – air in the chest, still can make out lung patterns, heart is not clear, pelvis separation from sacrum
A: HBC, breathing difficulty at this time, pelvis separation
P: Torb 0.16 cc given SC by tech and lasix/LRS 30 cc given by me. In cage sternal. Monitoring for breathing and tech to give SC LRS in one hour.
Response to treatment to determine if can be placed.
