***SAFE 07/20/16***OWNING A ROLLS OR A MERCEDES IS A LUXURY DRIVING EXPERIENCE…..OWNING A ROLLS ROYCE OR MERCEDES BENZ CAT IS A LUXURY CAT EXPERIENCE……..ROLLS ROYCE is a classic 10 yr old creamsicle gent who is NEUTERED and DECLAWED. He is an affectionate guy and has the AVERAGE rating to prove it!! He does, as most older cats, need a competent vet check!! MERCEDES BENZ is only 10 MONTHS old and came in lactating and she is not happy at the ACC…She goes from zero to 60 in nothing flat and would like nothing better than to burn rubber right out of the shelter. The ACC couldn’t make up it’s mind about MERCEDES BENZ. She is listed as NEW HOPE but on the Public Adoption list…Go Figure!! If you want to be FAST & FURIOUS, apply to FOSTER or ADOPT NOW!! For the classic cat experience, choose ROLLS ROYCE. If it’s high speed adventure you want, contact a NEW HOPE rescue about MERCEDES BENZ. If you need assistance, applying to FOSTER or ADOPT, email us at [email protected]

07/11/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Merecede Benz was hiding when I approached the cage When spoken quietly: Merecede Benz continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Merecede Benz becomes stiff, alert Reaction to touch: Merecede Benz hisses, strikes and does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: NewHope Merecede Benz was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. Merecede Benz seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
