SAFE 3/28/17 MeowMeow says (as translated by a volunteer): “Meow meow . . . . yes, that’s me! It’s kind of cool that I can say hello and tell you my name at the same time. I’m just worried that my new family might start treating me like a 2 year old (human) if they think I just wander around saying my own name, when I really want a bowl of Friskies or some love. If I could put in a request, and I don’t mean to be pushy, I would love to be called Marlon, like Marlon Brando. Just a suggestion, that’s all. Anyway, I should stop jabbering and tell you about me. You know how some people don’t do well in large groups and would rather stay at home with their close friends? That’s me. I admit I’ve been stressed at the shelter, even though I get fed and have a cozy blanket to curl up on. I’ve just never seen so many people before. So I’m trying my best to adjust. If you spoke to my former mom, she’d tell you that in my former home I liked playing with toys, and I had two human siblings, 3 and 6 years old. I liked then and they liked me. I was comfortable in my home so I didn’t mind being picked up or even put in a carrier. So that’s me, and I’m looking for a home where I can be as stress free and loving as I know I can be. Thanks for listening.
